It had been a tough day at work, entirely unfair for my birthday. I dropped my bag by the door, ran straight upstairs, stripped off. No plans tonight except padding too thick to walk properly in and enough wine to assure it was needed.
I was soon gasping in surprise at what I’d managed to do to myself. A thick high capacity disposable acquired online, a 12 ply fitted cloth diaper over the top and, as it was my birthday, a large folded terry square, additional bulk that when I stood up left my thighs screaming in pain. I’d need to stay sat down tonight, and the wine would be the only way I’d get to sleep.
A waterproof diaper cover, soft plastic bought especially for tonight, much larger than I’d normally need, and a pretty dress, intended as a fancy dress costume. The simple square neck and covered shoulders led to short lace sleeves, while from the waist down it flared out in layers of ruffles. The baby blue chiffon would just about keep me decent if I didn’t bend down but in this oversized diaper I had no fears of showing anything untoward. Except the diaper, bulging out below the hem, reaching to mid thigh.
I smiled and carefully made my way back downstairs, opened the door from my entrance hall into my lounge so I could turn on the TV before finding wine in the kitchen. I turned on the light.
“Surprise!” shouted a dozen of my friends. They’d been hiding quietly, confused that I’d gone straight upstairs, patiently waiting for me to come back down so they could give me a surprise party.
It surprised me all right. My hands instinctively flew to my crotch, tried to hide the thick diaper I was wearing but there was no chance of that. The blood rushed from my head, I felt faint and sank to my knees, losing control of my body. As I sagged back and landed on my bottom I lost control inside too, and the diaper did its job long before I had any wine.
I looked up at the shocked faces, happy welcomes turned to astonishment, now worry as they saw me fall. Friends I could trust rushed forward as I finished my collapse and blacked out, losing consciousness and escaping the awful situation.
For the moment, anyway.
